Ekidna Dee Why is a warm, family-owned early learning centre nestled in a quiet corner of Dee Why. We pride ourselves on creating a home away from home where children feel safe, valued, and inspired to learn. Our dedicated and passionate educators and teachers provide high-quality early childhood education through play-based, child-led programs that nurture each child’s curiosity, independence, and confidence.
We love exploring out in the community — you’ll often find us walking down to Dee Why Gardens to visit our Grand friends, stopping by the local park just around the corner, or visiting the flower shop on Fisher Road. Our children are active helpers in caring for the environment, whether planting sunflower seedlings and watching them bloom into big, bright flowers, or harvesting fruits and vegetables to use in our cooking experiences.
We have a strong connection with Dee Why Public School and work closely to support children in their preparation for primary school, helping them build the confidence, skills, and independence needed for a smooth and successful transition.
Our costs are all inclusive — we simply ask that families bring a water bottle, hat, and a few spare changes of clothes, as we love to get messy through sensory play or enjoy jumping in puddles on a rainy day!
